FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you make these prints?

I commission them from a professional lab which prints them as laser-exposed photo prints. For more information about the prints, see the Technical Details page.

How can I tell if the print will match the image I see in this store?

While I carefully proof print quality, there can be some very small differences between a picture displayed on a screen and the same picture printed as a hard copy. If you’re not sure about a particular picture, CONTACT ME before you order and we can make sure its quality is what you’re looking for.

How will my print be shipped, and how much does it cost?

The lab will ship the print directly to you via either UPS or FedEx, packed in “art-secure” packaging to protect it from damage. I include shipping costs in the print price.

How long will it take for my print to arrive?

Eight to ten working days, or about two weeks. The Covid-19 pandemic can sometimes slow things down, but I will track your order and keep you posted. I do not offer express fulfillment and shipping.

Will I need to frame my print?

Nope! This print format is rigid and “floats” off the wall thanks to included hanging hardware. You won’t need to frame or assemble anything.

How do I hang my print?

I’ll send you directions with my recommended hanging instructions based on my professional experience presenting work in homes and exhibitions. You’ll need to purchase some hangers at your local hardware store: either a couple regular hooks or screws-and-anchors, depending upon your wall.

Can my print be shipped outside the United States?

I do not ship internationally at this time.

If my print arrives in damaged condition, how do I return it?

CONTACT ME as soon as possible and I will make arrangements for you to return it to the print lab. I will then have a new print shipped to you. See more details on the Shipping and Returns page.

If I don’t like my print, can I return it for a refund?

I want you to be happy with your print, so if its quality doesn’t meet your expectations, I have a 30 day return policy — see the Shipping and Returns page for details. It’s reasonable to have questions or concerns about whether a print will work in your space or not, so I encourage you to CONTACT ME before you place your order and I will be happy to help you make the best decision for your space.

What if I have other questions about these prints?

CONTACT ME! (Really — it’s cool!) Guidance and support deepens your experience of art, so I’m always happy to provide more information and answer questions about my work.
