When you choose to add one of my prints to your space, you choose a high quality object made to exacting standards.
My prints are all produced by WhiteWall, a professional printing lab. I send them a lossless TIFF digital file sized exactly to the correct print size.
They use that file to laser-expose photo paper, creating a true photo print and not an inkjet print. WhiteWall guarantees 75 years of color brilliance for their photo prints.
They mount that print on Dibond, a three-layer aluminum backing board. This creates a rigid, lightweight support.
Then the print is permanently sealed behind a 4-mm-thick layer of shatterproof acrylic glass, which protects it and provides gallery-quality image resolution. The edges are sealed with elastic silicone, making it resistant to temperature fluctuations.
Hanging rails are attached to the back of the print, making it easy to hang using common anchors or picture hangers — the resulting presentation “floats” the picture slightly off the surface of the wall, with no additional frame needed.
This also makes the print easy to clean. You can dust your picture with a non-fuzzy, soft, dry cloth (I use a microfiber cloth). WhiteWall recommends that you DO NOT use glass cleaning products, and that you avoid putting pressure on the surface when cleaning your print.
I also personally recommend that you choose not to hang your print in direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity (e.g. a kitchen or bathroom).
